What Does the following chest X-ray Indicate? 

sir my x-ray report of chest PA view show that 1- Bony cage normal; 2- Lung fields show prominent & increased bronchovascular markings. Non homogenous patchy opacities seen in all Zones of RT lung field.Suggestive of infiltration.Trachea and heart shadow shifted towards Rt side? Rt. lung collapsed. Both hilar shadows prominent? Lymphadenopathy. Lt. CP angle clear. Rt CP angle blunted.? Pleural thickening/effusion. Lt. dome of diaphragm normal. CT ratio normal. Thanks

Hello. Thanks for your Xray report details.
Any abnormality in the lung will show up as increased whiteness/ blackness on an xray.
There is diffuse involvement of the lung by a disease process, with element of volume loss.
Hilar shadows prominent- most commonly is due to enlarged lymphnodes.
Blunting of right cp angle (costophrenic angle) suggests involvement of pleural space (lining of the lung) as well. Possibly due to a small fluid collection/ thickening.

Summarizing the findings- disease process of right lung, extending to nodes and pleural space. Most likely an infective cause, with sequelae.

However please see your doctor,as a details of your symptoms, other tests etc is required to make a diagnosis and start treatment. A CT is the next modality of choice.
